    I had it 115-113 PW.

Very close fight. SM did land the harder blows.

Martinez. He landed the better shots by far. Also a lot of the shots that the HBO crew was saying that williams was landing were barley grazing martinez.

I think a lot of the Martinez fans here are over rating his power a little bit. Very rarely did he even get Williams to back up with his "power" shots, and it's not like they had an accumlative effect, Williams out threw and out land Martinez in the last two rounds.

I had it 116-112 for Williams. When Martinez got hit, he held and looked affected. When Williams got hit he fires back, so to me, Williams punches were more effective.

    I gave the 2nd, 3rd, 7th (I think) and the 10th to Martinez.

I gave the first for Williams 10-9. They both scored KD's but Williams landed about 15 more punches, and won a majority of the round. The 119-110 card is of course ridiculous, as 2, 3 and 10 were "no doubters" for Martinez.

For me, the acceptable card range would be from 117-113 for Williams to 115-113 for Martinez. Both those extremes are if you give every close round to one fighter or the other.

I thought Martinez won 3 rounds without debate and Williams 5.

Fitz, it seemed to me you were saying Williams had an off night and didn't stick to game. I musta took it wrong.

A lot better. Though he needs to work on his stamina, if would have thrown more punches, he might have got a KO tonight.

Martinez showed many dimensions ... he started off with the right hook, the midway through the fight he started throwing body punches ... then he started throwing the left hand up top ... his adjustments were key in me making him a winner ... he didn't alot more than what the commentators were suggesting. Williams looked tired and sluggish ... his punch count was down and he was walking into some shots.

I prefer to interact with impartial boxing fans. You obviously don't qualify.........

You do know that Williams outlanded Martinz by 50 some punches right?

WTF? Which fighter would you have rather been at the end of the night? Who took more punishment?

He did adjust very well, at a point where he could have easily let Williams take the fight from him in the middle and later rounds. Williams ate some really big shots early on and he probably never fully recovered til it was too late, he was gonna have to feel them down the stretch. It was a close tough fight, I'll be waiting for the rematch.

I think that Martinez is a good fighter ... I think Williams is a good fighter and they are both terrible for other fighters ... it just so happens that they are good for each other.

I don't think either fighter is overrate !!

Especially Martinez ... it wasn't a fluke that he hadn't lost in almost 10yrs ... he showed that tonight.

Williams. He won, got hit less, and looked less bothered when he did get hit.

He cuts easier than most fighers, so he had that problem, but Martinez was swollen more and looked far more spent by the end of the fight.
