Don't forget the cheese topping on the chips and peas with the pie - with a selection of different coloured crisps and cocktail sticks with sausage and pineapple on
Don't forget the battered mars bars/snickers! A typical McDermott day Brekky Extra large bacon, sausage & mushroom butty with extra butter, not cutting fat off bacon Snacks Small carton of cream cheese & chive pringles, various canapes. Lunch Chicken chow mein & chips, with onion rings & prawn *******s (quality chinese near me, does all that for £6 yummm) Tea Crispy duck with pancakes, plus sharing a doner meat & pepperoni pizza with the missus and a large garlic bread with cheese & fried onions Drinks Plenty of ale, tea with five sugars
I don't think so Arnie. We're talking about levels here... Mcdermot has way more courage then 99.9% of the population but comparibly to a championship class boxer like yourself he was not willing to take that half step forward to get a possible win. Thats what seperates the champions from the contenders. There's playing it safe and theres coming for the win- I think he played it too safe and thats why he lost. It was not personal- I think he puts his shots together lovely for a heavyweight but that was not a case of a boxer being outclassed, it was a boxer not prepared to put his ass on the line for the lonsdale belt.
Jeff is right. By boxers standards he fights like a ***** in there. Soon as he gets hit he's gunshy for 2 or 3 rounds. You can't afford that, not if you want to win a British title.
We've already got a ***** presiding over the whole division. We definitely don't need an obese ***** ruling the division here.
I don't think he fights like that always... against reid he just went for it but he just did not want to get involved with Williams. Shame he had it won. All he needs to do is drop 5 stone and he could be a contender.
I think a stone & half would suffice...... He was probably wary of Danny's power - but Danny didn't know which hand was which in the fifth, and was there to be owned
Hey Dan, you are right, McDermott looks worse, but I don't see in him talent to go anywhere, even if he was fit. Danny, on the other hand, has talent to go places, he can still make some noise, but keeps crippling his chances. I don't know if at age 35 he is still good to become HW champ of the world, his best days are probably gonne, waisted behind a 260-280lbs fat ass, but I feel he still could put himself in a position for a title shot.
There is no way that DW could boil down anywhere near 230, I don't think that he has ever been close to that in his career.
