    Williams in a close one...

Paul is not slow and stupid enough to allow Shane to load up on power punches without some type of attempt at defense. He will also work the body early enough to take some of the steam out of Shane late.

I got Williams. Shane struggles with tall fighters. Williams is a tall southpaw with long arms he can box with Mosley on the outside or brawl with him on the inside he also won't get tired. I think Williams beats shane by outworking him and going to Shanes's body.

Agreed. His size and workrate will be the difference in this fight. And he has an excellent chin. Although we also thought Margo had one.

Williams outworks him to a decision, although I think Mosley will get some work done.

This is the fight I like LEAST for Shane.

P-Will needs to stay at 154 or 160 and leave these smaller guys alone...:bart

I would have said Williams in a close decision pre-this weekend.

    Now who the hell knows.

Williams, I think he beats any WW currently. (The loss re-energized him)

Also, like Pimp said, he struggles with tall fighters that can jab, specially southpaw.

looks like a toss-up. mosley has had problems with tall fighters like forrest but pw is an agressive fighter who at times gives up his height to exchange. williams wont be sitting back using distance, hes gonna want to excahnge, which would give mosley a chance to do work. cole match up with williams getting the slight edge.

    That's the problem for Shane...

Clinching won't help him quite as much with Williams as it did with Margo. Besides, WIlliams is actually strong enough to clinch him too if necessary. If Wiliams stays outside and works the body with jabs, this fight could get one-sided and boring. If he decides to trade on the inside, he could be opened up to some wicked shots that turn the tide.

To me, the outcome of this fight is all in the hands of Williams' discipline.

williams is gonna trade. hes just that type of fighter. it will be a very entertaining but williams likely wins by a tight decision.

Every fight Paul has been in since Quintana 1 has seen him making more and more improvements. I really can not see Shane beating him. Paul is tall, long, has a high workrate, and KO power.

I honestly think Williams would be too much for anyone at 147 if he was able to make the weight properly without being drained. He was the first to beat Margarito during his title reign and no other champions would fight him. I think his mandatory at the time( Michael Jennings i believe) turned the fight down after he beat Quintana in the rematch. That's how avoided he is. I think Mosley would be competitive, but i see him losing a majority decision, it would be close.

Paul is so over-rated. He is so easy to hit. He does have a good chin, but, somebody is gonna tag that chin one day, and sayonara.
