Say what you will about Winky's age/inactivity but what else could you ask from Williams? He's stepping up to make a MW debut and he's fighting the best available. Is there a better non-champ MW that would actually fight him? Seems like a gutsy move to me, even if forced mostly by the fact that he has trouble finding opponents.

Williams is calling out the big names sure but what about the good fighters who are not big names? Guys like Dzinziruk and Santos are top5 in the same division as Williams and he wants nothing to do with them. For me a guy who will fight anyone is a guy who will fight people even if they are not bigger names than he is. Like Cotto who fought Margo and is now fighting Clottey.
Williams didnt want to give him a third fight, the man needs to make a living. You said a couple of posts back that quintana didnt want a third fight i just proved you wrong. You said it quite definitively that you would know if he would want one. Dont tell me that the self proclaimed most avoided fighter just avoided quintana? just like what Margarito did to williams.
