Williams vs. Wright: Williams wants 50-50 split

    Williams should just take any reasonable offer from Wright and prove he is willing to fight the best available fight out there.

    Besides, if he beats Winky, it would be a great boost to his career, given his current situation, as he said, that most of the popular and good fighters are avoiding him.

    Winky doesn't want to fight very badly if he doesn't want to take a 50/50 split. How he could waste time being so inactive and pricing himself out is beyond me.

    C'mon Lance...

    Don't try to make this Paul's fault id the fight doesn't come of. Everyone would agree that Paul deserves 50/50 based on what he has done.

    And as far as this Quintana nonsense, yeah he lost that first one, but he wasn't close to performing how he was capable of. But it's cool. He actually doesn't mind when people judge his expectations based on that fight.

    It would be a difficult fight, though. Winky is not a pushover, but P should be able to take him if he can outwork him.

    Not trying to make this anyone's fault dude. Just when you put yourself into the position saying NO ONE wants to fight, and here's an attractive and winnable fight, why squabble over money. And lets be honest, Williams needs this more then Winky does. It would be a huge win for Williams leading to bigger and better.

    As for what Paul's done...what's that? Beat Margarito and Phillips? WInky's beaten much better fighters. I just don't see his being inactive as some big reason to give 50-50.

    Williams is the guy with a belt at 147 and a interm belt at 154,he has never fought Winky and Williams is the guy ranked. Winky has accomplished alot YEARS ago he aint fought in damn near 2 years by the time this fight is supposed to take place. 50-50 is fine Winky isnt even a draw or anything anything more is unacceptable.

    What happened to Winky-Kessler? Was that just another case of false reporting by whoever started that thread or was there legitimate talk of the fight happening?

    when you tell someone with a good knowledge of sports this guy beat winky right thats a good win...
