    I think that every KO punch need not luck as a base(then i would be lucky punch) but a little bit luck as additional factor, to create monster KO.

    Of course Martinez know what he was doing, of course he was seeking this ko and did it perfectly. But a little bit luck is always necessery

    Dont get mi wrong, my friend:)I am excited about Maravilla, it great to see that kind of warrior

    It looked a hell of a lot luckier than it actually was. At the same time he threw it, he was ducking away from the punch he knew was coming because it was the very punch he was timing with the left counter.

    Perfect timing, he found a home for that punch in the first fight, but now he caught him from a blind spot. There's nothing Paul could've done to prevent that happening sometime during the night, and it just so happened in the second round.

    Looked like Martinez had prepared the punch.

    You think a world champion should get hit with a loaded up telegraphed shot?

    Check the Hatton vs. Pacquiao KO. Fighters work in split seconds and Pacquiao was allowed to telegraph a left hook and almost kill his opponent.

    Same with this.

    Martinez traversed into what should have been an impossible angle and let fly with a huge left hand. Williams defence was a ****in joke. Hence the bum comparison. Not a bum but certainly stopped like one, as was Hatton.

    If you don't think a championship level pro should be getting out of the way of that then you don't have a ****in clue what you're watching.

    Paul Williams is and has always been an average fighter with great physical advantages he cant use, nor is he intelligent enough to use.

    Many greats have been knocked out like that. It happens more often than not if they fight enough. I think it is worse to not fight the best like Floyd and maybe he will never be knocked out like that, but no one will see his career as great. Both Duran and Hearns were knocked out pretty severely and recovered and won more titles. It can be done. You just have to look forward and learn. People are very forgiving on being knocked out if the fighter comes back and shows they can still fight.
