I see Williams trying to box and getting caught against the ropes with a thunderous uppercut..lol

Lets not overhype him again. A win over Quintana is a decent start.

too soon for Berto. He's a hell of a talent, but he gets off his game when his opponent backs him up. He gets hit then, and a real puncher could take him out. Once he works out his defensive issues though he will be a top contender, IMHO. But I think that's a year or two off.

Before Saturday I would have said the same thing - But one thing he did do this weekend was use a long right hand, something that if he were to do more often, he would be very hard to beat. He has the tools, he just needs to use them.

Oscar wouldnt fight a guy like Williams he's an unknown and isn't really a draw. Not to mention he doesn't want that type of action.

Willaims has learned form his mistakes after his loss to Carlos. That's what you want to see. I think he will only continue to improve if he works on his defense and learns to fight tall better combined with his inside game he will be a force.

He dont really have a year if he's fighting for a title on the 21st. he'll have to defend it right?

I'm not saying that Williams is the best that division has to offer ... but given his height, length, and high ass workrate ... he's going to have trouble getting people willing to fight him.

The money will be there ... the risk will be far greater than the reward.

I don't think that Williams will be able to beat Floyd ... but as far as a Cotto or Molsey ... i'm drooling thinking about the possibility of fighting those guys.

I'm sure that the winner of Clottey v Judah wants any either ...

It amazes me how much faith people put in Mosley around here. :rofl :patsch

Margarito will certainly fight Williams. That's a fight he wants to redeem. Cotto would probably fight Williams too.

I agree and have agreed for a long time that Williams is going to be a hard fight for anyone at 147. But he has to be smart about it. No more wishy washy mauling tactics. No more giving up his height. He needs to fight tall, sit on his punches and especially keep that jab sharp.

I would've much preferred to see a full 12 round fight or at least a late stoppage to see how Paul's boxing is improving.
