Two guys in or around each others level. Casey has had trouble getting fights lately so he was forced to move up to featherweight to fight Evensen in his back yard on the DeGale card this weekend.

Casey should be prepared well. He's been training in Belfast away from his wife and kids and seems to be taking his career very seriously.

My knowledge of Evensen is pretty limited. He looked like a midget fighting Ricky Burns yet despite the fact he clearly lost the fight against a giant looking Burns, he didn't take all that much punishment. This time round, Casey will probably be the smaller man. It's an intruiging fight.

No doubt Casey will go for the knockout and maybe the move up in weight will have been a good move for him.

Really looking forward to it too. Thinks Evensen nicks it closely.

Not really his backyard (He is Norwegian afterall) But there will probably be some Norwegians as Frederikshavn is easily reached by ferry from Norway.

A friend from Ireland told me, Casey's confidence isn't the same since the Rigo loss. Not sure who to pick.

Caesy looked good in his comeback fights, think he will probably win on points, should be a good tear up.

I wouldnt be concerned if not for the fact that Sauerland promotes it. Evensen is Norweigian and the judges in title fights are always international here.

He was born their yes, but was adopted at an early age. Just like Cecilie Braekhus btw.

Braekhus and Mathis was to fight on this show too, but Braekhus reportedly got tonsilitis. That fight may go down sometime in the fall instead.

Boxnation are covering it so I'd imagine we'll see highlights at the very least.

Whole card will be televised in Denmark on 3+, in Norway on Norway 4, and on Sweden on TV 10.

DeGale - Sanavia will also be televised on Boxnation. Dunno if Evensen - Casey will be too.

Look out for Patrick Nielsen, Torben Nielsen, Reda Zam Zam and Erik Skoglund too :happy

There is also a debutant on the card. A Norwegian named Simen Smaadal, but I dunno anything about him. Should have good amateur credentials, but havnt fought in years.

Patrick Nielsen is really good. Think this might also be his Boxnation debut.
