Willie Limmond turns down 25k to fight Lee McAlister!

He doesn't say when he was offered, he could have refused for any reason. If he even refused at all that is.

I think it would be a good fight, I'd lean towards Limond for the win but I dont think mcallister would be a walk in the park for him. They'd be well matched

 

Limond should focus on his upcoming fight, then take Bucklands 'Celtic' championship

 

Limond should stop passing up decent opportunities.

willie is totally focused on the next contest against barett may 29th,but for willie to box for the celtic title would be a step backward,limond is a class act and would in my opinion box lee at the drop of a hat and win convincingly.

 

He had the Celtic title at 126, and I rate BBBofc > WBU

willie limond has only been beaten twice since 1995 as am or pro,that was to alex arthur (WBO champ) and amir khan, why limond hasnt had a british title shot or better is simply not right,he more than deserves a shot at murry or if lee wins an all scottish commonwealth fight

 

A domestic fight like this means more then any WBU fight Willie would make.

This fight could be an eliminator. If Willie wins, he gets Murray.
