Willie Limond turns to promoting; Shoots for the WBU world title

Willie's now fighting Harry Ramogoadi tomorrow nite.

not a bad opponent considering the notice .South african bloke who fought kevin mitchell a few years .more wins than losses on his records

 

If limmond going to go anywhere he needs to stop this guys.

1) hes a featherweight
2) hes never been 12 rounds
3) hes been stopped by featherweights
4) he wont be in good condition
5) hes lost to everyone hes every faced.


for all the reasons above he is not a good opponent, and if they had got a decent opponent in the first place instead of a WBU african we wouldnt have this problem

Well dont comment one it then, Look Willie iam sure has put in a hell of a lot of work to this not to mention money, boxing shows without tv do not make alot after you pay boxers purses, board fee's, venue cost etc etc, this has now cost yet even more after the other guy failed the medical (willie would have been paying for his flight's etc) and now he's paying for a replacement, what iam saying is give the guy a break. Willie has been handed a raw deal in boxing for what ever reason, and now he's trying to take his carear out of other peoples hands and do things for himself, like i said before if Willie was to be offered a fight against murray or thaxton iam sure he would jump at the chance. But neither have offered him a fight (which says alot) despite both being big fights in Britian. So what do you say he does Rob?, sit about hoping and waiting for the board to notice him? or try and do something himself even if it means promoting his own show well training full time and proberly working?, he's been pushed against a wall and is making the best out of a bad situation.

 

how many times have i answered this question now, fight guys in the british top 10, you dont have to fight guys ranked above you to keep pressure on the champion.

 

I didn't think that Zambian sounded too bad an opponent goin by the record limond produced, but he has aids apparently so thers not much can be done. at least hes not riskin his health now!
