If Lemieux and Stevens couldn't hurt Golovkin with power punches then Canelo may as well be hitting a brick wall, he's not denting Golovkin's chin.

I think Canelo may look good for one or two rounds early on, while Gennady does his scouting report. But after that he will be broken down methodically until he quits. GGG goes too well to the body and mixes his assault up too well to be out-slicked. Saul doesn't have the footwork to escape, and he will never have been hit as hard as he will against GGG.

Late Golovkin KO is my prediction, with confidence.

Cotto is world Class Elite... Lemieux, Monroe and Murray are not. That's the difference. You ain't always going to knock everyone out, and GGG has never even been in there yet with someone like Canelo= World Class Elite. Look at stevens was able to move GGG back with some right hands and left hooks, so he's not an immoveable object. He's there to be hit, and he can be hurt and it's always the punches you don't see that hurt you the most.

Cotto may be elite (or he was elite many moons ago) but he's over the hill and out of his weightclass. And this is the important bit.. HE'S BEEN STOPPED BEFORE. Logic has evaded you. Cotto was stopped twice so he can be stopped again. Simple. Canelo should have disposed of Cotto. He didnt even come close. He doesnt stand a chance against GGG and you know it. Forgetting about GGGs popularity or draw. Floyd was prepared to fight Alvarez but flat rejected a GGG fight. GGG is much more dangerous fighter than Canelo everyone knows that, even Floyd and you should too.

What does it matter? You make it seem like if you get stopped you're finished.. Plenty of Boxers have been TKO'ed and bounced back..Lennox Lewis is a clear example of that...Period.
