He looked like magic when he fought Harold Johnson though...quite a boxing exhibition against a great boxer. It was like Willie was so instinctual with his reflexes at jabbing and moving just ever so slightly out of harm's way. I haven't watched much of Pastrano honestly, but that performance made you scratch your head and think what a tough guy (stylewise) to deal with.
Addendum: Pep sounds like a character!

What Willie did in bouts was an eye-opener, d -- worthy of all the accolades over the years -- hardly the class clown that joined with Clay ta drive Angelo Dundee nuts. They were Heckle 'n Jekyll, while Pep did stand-up 'n ragged on everyone.

JG, like I said, I haven't really watched him that much...He and Pep just looked so natural...I bet the fifth street was a scene.

The were both naturals, d-- didn't work to improve anything. Angelo hadta light a fire under Willie ta do anything. He was content to laugh 'n pull pranks with Clay.

JG, 95% or more (fighters) would problably kill to be able to do what those two were able to. Unbelievable talent.
