Cant believe how many fights the guys had...before the first Sandler fight he was 134-1-1

Within 8 years as a pro....that is insane.

    Yup, a truly great record.

Harry Greb averaged a fight every 10 days or something like that. No bad considering the calibre of fighters he beat.

Now days we have Floyd and Manny fight twice a year at best. Such a shame!

Oltimers were true warriors. They had average over 200 fights vs today fighters under 50 fights in their career.Today Floyd and Manny earn for one fight as much as Robinson for whole career. But because of that today champions will never be considered better than past champions.

Pep was a lazy bugger compared to some of our British Journeymen...

When Len Wickwar fought Billy Bird in July 1937; Bird was having his 280th (proven) bout in his 17th year as a pro; Wickwar was having his 391st (proven) bout in his 11th year as a pro...

normally 8 years into a career marks the prime or the beginning of the end, just so impressed that he won 134 times in those 136 fights.

    Haye had 26 fights

    Wlad 46 fights

    Pacqiuo 38 fights

    Mayweather 32 fights

    A. Ward 25 fights
