    Ok, so Willie Pep was regarded as an ATG whilst he was boxing and was a popular fighter. However there is not alot of footage of him.

    Willie Pep is my faverouite boxer and i am trying to watch as much as ican of him as i know there isnt alot of footage of him so far i have

    Willie Pep vs Ray Famechon (highlights)
    Willie Pep vs Sandy Saddler 3 (highlights)
    Willie Pep vs Sandy Saddler 4
    Willie Pep vs Joey Cam
    Willie Pep vs Lulu Perez (2nd round only)
    Willie Pep vs Gil Cadilli 2

    what other footage of his fights are available, i am intrested in full fights. If you have any you can PM me but if you know of fights that were filmed of his just post in here.

    There's footage of a young, prime Pep vs Ralph Walton, though the quality of the Youtube version is not very good.

    Think I have all thsos, need to recheck the dvd's after work. Pretty sure I have Walton.

    I like Walker lol.

    He is fun to watch. Think his best fight is Loughran. It was pretty close.

    Oh yeah, I forgot about that. But that was mostly playing around.

    Pep was turning all brawler(MMM, Pep a brawler??)

    And Robinson just timing Pep's charges, and having a good laugh.

    Yeah I have snippets of them.

    You won't find any evidence there of Pep shooting a better jab that Sweet Pea though :D

    Yes mate... Ray is Fammo's uncle. The Famechon family are a great French family. Australia is fortunate for having Andre Famechon move here where Johnny was a child. Hence, Aussies claim Fammo as their own.... just as Johnny loves being a credited Aussie.

    :lol: you got me there but i still say he has a better jab one thing i noticed from watching footage today he looks alot smaller than Pea

    are these fights filmed in whole or just snippets

    I've seen a highlight of the Savoie fight as well (about 10 minutes long). Very good footage, some of the best available I'd say.

    As for the Famechon's, Johnny was definitely the better of the two. I'd actually have been very interested in a pure boxing match between himself and Pep.
