According to Floyd's and Calzague's way of measuring the all time greatest Willie Pep is then way better than both of them right ?

Fighters need to stop thinking the 0 will be the most important factor in were they end up in the all time list... cause its not !

The quality of opponents counts, not the quantity.

Pep came from a different era, when fighters fought much more often, and politics were even more important than now, and fighters could be shafted by promoters and lose fights early in their career, with flagrantly corrupt judges and referees.

The two cannot be compared. The 0 is way more important now that is certainly sure, but in the past it did not mean anything.

Surely, "could Floyd beat a top 5 candidate in his best weight class" is a much better question?
