He would get clocked repeatedly attempting his artistry, he would need to become an aggressive swarmer or be buggered as he lacks the reach to be a truly effective counterpuncher against todays quick opponents

Well, I consider the 80's and 90's to be the peak of boxing skill level, so I can agree to that as it's not as good now generally as it was then.

    The HW's are downright pathetic.

[yt]e4IsZxqeJos[/yt] They all jab like domestic fighters and lead with horrid wide punches half the time - I'd snap their head back with a proper modern jab if they tried to feint like that against me

Notice the feinting - a lost art in today's general fight scene.

Looks pretty good to me. you must be one hell of a fighter to make such a bold claim. Do you mind if I inquire about your fight career?

    1. Are you a pro or amateur?

    2. What weight do you fight at?

    3. Are you ranked?

    4. Can I find your credentials online?

sugar ray leonard prolly has a better overall resume than that and he only fought like 40 times.

Yeah he does, but he doesn't have the dominance in his prime, longevity and consistency of Pep. Also, I think he lost to Hagler (as well of course to Duran), making his resume not THAT much more impressive than Pep's.

The difference is Leonard fought a lot of the best fighters in a modern era and moved through weight divisons

Less frames would make them appear deceptively quick
