Willie "Sandman" Mitchell?

    Anyone heard of this guy? I've been lead to believe he's from Ireland and 2-0 as a professional, though I can't find him on boxrec so I tend to believe he's white collar...

    I remember him from northern Ireland is that him ste smith stopped him in 20 seconds when he was 17 he won nabc yr later an then moved up loads of weights

    Think thewy were semi pro but i heard he is going pro aswell,What weight is he boxing now,I remember him boxing Kenny egan in the senior final a few years back..Total mismatch...

    He's had 2 White collar fights in Belfast recently. I think he was doing MMA before that. Not seen him myself, however, his trainer said that he has had offers to turn over.

    Just heard him and Conor Fleming are turning pro in Malta at the start of next year.

    Kenny Egan stopped in a round back in 07, but he also said Mitchell was fighting way above his natural weight class. Never seen Mitchell in action though.
