Regardless of his loss last month to BJ Flores, Darnell Wilson will get a shot at a world title. I predict that the fight will go the distance with Arslan winning via decision.
Interesting, although he doesn't deserve it. Do you have a source? You out there, Ding? If it's true, winnable fight for Ding, actually a good style matchup. Forward-moving Arslan will there for Ding's power.
FROM ANOTHER SITE: COMING OFF LOSS, WILSON GETS SHOT AT WBA BELT According to the Eurpean Boxing Association, WBA regular cruiserweight titlist (David Haye has the WBA super championship and true world champion status) Firat Arslan will make his second defense on May 3, 2008 in Stuttgart, Germany, against American Darnell Wilson. The bout will be televised by ZDF and promoted by Universum Box-Promotions. Wislon was on a great run in the 200-pound division, but is getting this title shot coming off a loss to BJ Flores, who apparently was passed over for this opportunity, as was Rob Calloway, who used this website to call out Arslan. Good luck Ding, I hope we get to see the fight...
Borat is tailor made for the Ding A Ling man. And after his "loss" to Flores he should come in at a nice price.:smoke :smoke
It's close enough to fight time, I don't know if we'll see Ding around here before then. Given that this is the fight he's waited his whole career for, I can't say I'd blame him for it. Hopefully he's training hard and focusing on it as we speak.
