****ed up the biggest fight of my generation and i ****en hate him for that...he will always be remembered for his cowardly ways and not his accomplishments in the ring :-( manny might still physically be in his prime, but mentally you can tell that his mind is starting to drift elsewhere....floyd has his chance and ****ed it up for everybody...can't believe the coward was trying to sell the whole "i wanna clean up the sport" act.....if anything, he ****ed it up :deal on a serious note, props to manny for taking on risky fights that many others will not..... can't wait for this weekend :good
Patience mate, I still firmly believe that the fight will happen. Delays and bitchy arguments and egos and delays are annoying as all hell but just wait and see. If i'm wrong and they don't fight then retire i'll happily give out all the **** in the world to them. Bump this thread when it happens and remind me if they don't ever fight but until then have a bit of hope
Hopefully the fight will happen. If it dosn't Mayweather can go **** himself for all I care. The blame will be on him if it dosnt happen.
You are lying to yourself if you honestly believe that Floyd "****ed up this fight". He made a simple demand, after agreeing to every demand made by Pac's camp, and Pac felt it was too much to ask. You are taking the positiion that asking a PROFESSIONAL athlete to agree to USADA drug testing regulations is somehow beyond comprehension. PBF didn't walk away from negotiations, he didn't immediately sign to fight a no name punching bag, he didn't lie in the media, he didn't have to be publically corrected by a COMPLETELY NEUTRAL arbitrator. He was forthright, he was honest, and his team legitiamtely worked to get this fight done prior to the SSM fight, but Pac's team refused and walked. On the backend, NOW he is willing to meet "all the demands" (that he and his camp can't even get straight as to what those agreements were), but why would he not have been willing to make these concessions when both sides were ACTIVELY ENGAGED in negotiation? During that process all his demands were met, is there any debating that? Yet you append all the blame to PBF, when he was the most honest, most discrete, and was clearly the most willing to make this fight happen during the most legitimate of the negotiation processes? I find that to be a skewed perspective, there is no reason to blame PBF for Pac making a personal choice not to submit to sophisticated modern drug testing, that was Pac's call.
I dont think the fight will happen , There is nothing they can do to make the fight any bigger than it would have been if they had announced it after Mayweather ripped Mosely a new arsehole ? If it was going to happen it would be in the works by now IMO ! I hope I am wrong :bbb
I am beginning to feel that Pac-Floyd fight is a bit unfair after this weekend in terms of wear and tear of both fighters. Pac has been into rugged wars, against fighters bigger than him whereas Floyd fights like a ***** most of the time. Mileage-wise Floyd is still in break-in period.
Okay so blame Floyd the second time around but you have to blame Manny the first time. It's that simple!:good
I cant believe people are trying to blame ONE of them for the fight not happening ! IMO BOTH of them r 2 blame I dont think any of them wanted the fight ! At the moment BOTH of them can make millions fighting other fighters once they fight each other the loser is gonna lose alot of appeal ( for example - If Pacquiao had just lost to Mayweather do u think he would make the same money for fighting Margarito that he is now )
Bottom line is this, if Floyd wants the fight and pac screwed it up then why change the one thing that stopped the fight the first time and pac conceded to the second time? What is the point of changing the cut off date other than to hold up the fight?
The original offer was full random testing. He went to 14 days to try and save the fight and even said before the and after the Mosley fight that Manny would have to do full testing.
Dude to be honest this fight is the most meaningful but you know its gonna turn out a dud. When was the last mega fight that actually put you on your feet yelling at the tv? Honestly to me Pac Vs Margo is worth my money only because of the action but id still rather pay $65 for an event like the bantam tournament. I dont think I would shell out $65 for any Floyd fight. Just my 2 cents.
