Winky 2003 vs Pacquiao 2010 @154 who wins ???

Size does matter, when used correctly and I think it would matter in Winky vs. Pacman, because Winky's style is a problem for Pac regardless. It could have mattered more in Clottey vs. Pac, but Clottey fought in a manner that neutralized any size advantage he had. Winky not only would be physically bigger and perhaps stronger at 154, he is also much longer, whereas he is 5'10, 5'11 with a greater reach than Pacquiao by far( Clottey 5'8 ). Winky's style in this fight would make size matter. Soliman lost unanimously in that fight anyway despite his whatever perceived trouble he gave Winky.

Look at the first round of Cotto/Pac and keep thinking to yourself "Winky has a better jab". Not saying Winky takes this 100% but I sure am 88% sure he beats Pac esp. w/ a jab alone.

 

154 - Winky.
Because no one knows for sure how the weight will affect him. He barely makes 147 right now. Yes he looks great versus WW but 154 is another story. He might be too bloated to the point he will look like JMM in the PBF fight.

If it was 147 - Pac all the way for me.

 

If pac is comfortable at that weight, he'll make winky shot overnight.....

 

154 would be too much weight for Pac I'm afraid. I'm pretty sure this is the weight where we'll see Pac bloated.

Good point in Road to Dallas he said he had to eat alot to stay at 147 so no way I see him making 154. If 147 wasn't the place to be now I bet MP would move back to 140.

 

He has to eat a lot because of how many calories he burns a day while training.

 

Soliman was even smaller than Winky so I dont think that it made any difference, Winky still had his "jab". He was coming off a great victory against Tito.

Winky was specially succesful with that jab and shell style against boxer-punchers that didnt have too much movement. Tito was a perfect example, he thought he could bomb away, obviously that doesnt work against the shell guard, in turn Winky just laughed at him by popping that jab and schooling him. Mosley put up a much better fight, taking Wright to an SD, but again, Mosley is another boxer puncher and IMO is not the type to get in, get out...something Pac will do. Something Pac does best and IMO the best style for that defense.

I think Winky beats Spinks all day, but its a styles thing, if Spinks can survive for 12 rounds, he may frustrate Pac running around like a fairy. Wright is stood there to be hit, meanwhile Pac will jump out the way when he returns fire.

 

Accidently voted Pac but I think Winky wins, especially at 154.

Winky won that fight easily. Soliman threw a thousand arm punches and winky blocked all of them. I forget the exact stats but it was over 1000 punches thrown by Soliman and Winky still landed more than he did.
