Well the biggest issue with size regards to Pac is him getting ktfo, I dont see that as an issue here so I cant see size being an issue. The only advantage of the size is the reach advantage. Apart from that, you could say it was a disadvantage, they are dealing with a smaller faster opponent. Pac will also not try to overpower or stalk him, he will fight him the way he did Oscar, box and use footspeed to stay out of range jumping in and out.

Who knows, maybe your right. Maybe Im overestimating Pac's ability to get in and out of range and underestimating Winky's timing and landing his jab once his opponent is finished unloading.

I dont see it though so maybe we should just agree to disagree.

Next up: Manny Pacquiao vs. a prime Michael Nunn. I mean Pacquiao shut out a current-day Marlon Starling obviously, and the same Starling gave Nunn all he can handle. So obviously Pacquiao would beat Michael Nunn.

And id strongly fancy Winky to beat Pacquiao to the punch on the way in every time , he has better fundamentals than Pacquiao in every department barring intensity and work rate and lets be real Winky could work with the best of them , you'd be giving Manny the nod in this department against every fighter in the world .

So when Pac was a featherweight and PacDbest came into this forum making threads saying Pac will fight and beat ODLH, Hatton & Mayweather, you gave him the nod of approval whilst 99% of the forum laughed their ass off?

you chose one of winky's worst perfomances in which he still picked off and countered and repeatedly hurt soliman. the cards didint do this fight justice. wright about landed 2x as many shots(close to 300) as soliman(170?) while throwing half as many(under 700 vs over 1000). and to add to that winky was truly under the weather with a URI. bad example.

soliman is not really smaller either. he bounced around many weight classes up to 175.

control of the range and great timing and faster than he gets credit for.

There is no doubt in my opinion that Winky would win a tough fight.... hes simply too big. There is a reason that Roach and co werent going after foreman for another weight class and title.... and he stated it. And to suggest that now, just because Pac has climbed to the heights he has and looked so spectacular and dominant against the best welterweights, that he HAS NO boundaries or limits, is a bit false, IMO.

Theres a difference between beating Cotto, a former 140lber, and solid welter, and even Clottey, a 5'9 solid solid welter (whos best win is zab judah and corrales),

and fighting winky, a very big and strong 154lber, and a solid solid middleweight, and a guy whos been in with hopkins, vargas, mosley, trinidad, jermain taylor, ect....

I think it borders on overboard when suggesting Pac could beat him IMO, although i respect the opinion, im simply saying i dont see it at all, and i think Winkys jab and pressure would serve him well in this fight, and i think he would take the fight about 8 rounds to 4.

Has Pac proved me wrong before? hell ya.... could he prove me wrong again? damn straight lol. But even Pac has limits, and a HOF'er 154lber like Winky Wright i think is one of them.

and its nothing against Pac, i would take Winky at 154 over any welterweight or below out there today, period, except maybe paul williams.

    Just IMO

I know what you mean on size. Winky and Foreman are pretty frickin tall, plus its at 154. Something tells me Pac would've been too much for the featherfisted foreman though. I'm pretty Sure Cotto is gonna whip him. Pac should've went for that title, then he would've really cemented himself.

Oh ya, i think Pac would dominate foreman myself.... who knows, if foreman does manage to beat cotto, we just might see that fight.
