dawg miranda was even landing his ugly ass punches while kelly walked foward. Taylor actually knows how to move and place his at angles. winky DID pick off plenty of shots and blocked even more making his way in. its the reason he does very well backing fighters up like he did tito

 

now you are making it more than it was. he didn't just "let his hands go". he came in behind the jab and when he has him backing up THEN he flurried. c'mon man your smarter than sayin some **** like that.

 

Do you have any idea how much great footwork, a great jab and slick movement come into play when attempting to back an opponent up? It isnt always as simple as "letting your hands go" and in this case it wasnt. If you didnt see Winky starting with his jab almost everytime that he backed Jermaine up....then you should visit youtube again.

Kelly doesnt have great footwork...he doesnt have great movement...he doesnt have a great jab. HE AINT WINKY!

Pavlik (tho I feel a very good fighter) lacks severly in the fundamental department. JT is a hell of alot more accurate a puncher than Zertuche or Miranda (the two biggest names on Kelly's resume...) and with his footwork, accuracy, and his JAB...he will be able to return fire so to say...but I feel using those above things he will be able to keep him at bay and outbox him quite easily.

When have you seen Winky rocked? I have no doubts about Pavlik's chin....but Winky has proven his against ATGs....not fringe journeymen and wild swinging (and ridiculously unaccurate) brawlers.

Gifts in your eyes...its all subjective. I feel he lost to Bernard in the first one and the second one was a draw (but you could make a case for either guy). The fight vs Winky, I had a draw. The fight vs Spinks I feel was a boring fight...but a clear victory for Taylor.

And please tell me what fighter Pavlik has fought that is better than ANY of those three? Who on his resume would beat any of them?

Not sure what race/color have to do with it....Im white and I think Taylor will win.

Because Kelly aint Winky. Plain and simple. Cant make it any simpler than that (will he? he very well might....but we will see).

Kelly Pavlik does have a jab. It not the greatest jab in boxing. Its not even close as being as good as Winky Wright but Kelly does throw a jab and he doesn't have to have the greatest jab to get inside on JT. Kelly just needs to throw the jab to get inside. Kelly Pavlik is kinda like Miguel Cotto and I mean it by Miguel Cotto doesn't have a good right hand but he still throws it. If Kelly throw the jab and gets inside he will win.

 

When I said he had no jab....I meant that its not that good....and it will NOT help him cut off the ring.
