A Jab will help him get inside. It doesn't have to be good. If he throws the jab he gonna throw it with power. I'm telling you he is gonna get inside against JT and a jab will help you get in the in in a fight.

that's why pavlik is overrated so many people believes in him

How can you say he is overrated is this his only his second step up fight? Pavlik fought Miranda when nobody wanted to fight him. This fight will show if Kelly Pavlik is ready to fight at the pound 4 pound level.

I can't wait to see Pavlik get raped. There are so many people hugging Pavik's nuts like a pair of bikini underwear. JT is not Miranda. Miranda is no Winky. He's not even Ouma. Now it is time for Kelly to go to school. I can't believe Bob Arum mentioned Pavlik's name in the same sentence as Tommy Hearns. That's sacriligious. Arum should be hanged.

Pavlik does have a pretty good jab. He has a lot of power in it. He is a natural south paw. I've seen him dictate movement with his jab. His jab is going to feel to Jermain like the best shot he received from Ouma. Plus, I don't think anybody is factoring in his ability to effectively go to the body. This might be the determining factor in this fight.

Pavlik is a very good young fighter, but all I hear is why he will beat Jermain. People seem to forget the JT has faced fighters who were had similar and better skill than Kelly, but Pavlik can't even hope to say that he's faced anybody on the level as Taylor. It's like JT is just gonna lay down for Kelly. This is a damn prize fight and JT is the champ. I understand people being behind their fighter, but logic has to kick in somewhere. Pavlik is gonna be in for the fight of his life. This ain't gonna be easy. People seem to forget that JT can punch when he wants to, and somehow I get the feeling that he's gonna want to show that part of his repertoire come Saturday night. This will not be a walk in the park for Kelly and any stretch of the imagination.

have you ever seen any of Jermain's fights after he was done on the olympics. He was starching people one after another with his right hand. Kinda similar to what Pavlik was doing to his oppenents. If anything, JT's right is better than Pavlik's. And of course ouma is going to say it wasnt ****, the guy has never been knocked out (maybe down but not out). And spinks, well the guy has some great defence. I guess what I am really trying to say is that Pavlik vs Jermains opposition ends up with Pavlik losing to alot of the guys Jermain beat. It is going to be a sad day for you when Pavlik hits the deck. Taylor is going to win by Knockout - remember where you heard it first.

I dont think the resume really plays of anything important here. If you took away JT's last 4 oppenets, JT still beats Pavlik. Pavlik is just extremly easy to hit. Pavlik has a height advantage every fight but does not seem to utilize it to his advantage. JT is going to capitalize on that. But people are sleeping on JT thats for sure.

I think he has a good jab.

He's a natural left hander and his jab hurts his opponents.

It's a telling sign when your opponents get hurt by a jab.

yeah but JT's jab is better than Pavlik. Once kelly throws his jab expect JT to come right back with his. Pavlik aint gonna want to use that jab anymore.

    Exactly.

Taylor won't be able to move around the ring that much when he feels Kelly's HARD left hooks to the body.

yeah the hype on this guy is ridiculous. I remember after miranda people on here were saying pound for pound champ and how he was going to be the greatest fighter ever.

You never heard me saying that.

I said that Pavlik would knock Miranda the **** out.

    Miranda was made for Pavlik.

lol, that was pretty funny. It is almost a 50/50 fight though. I like taylor by knockout, but kelly has some tools (mainly his right) to definetly get it done. I think it is going to turn out to be a war. I am glad I got my tickets already.
