Winky had the same chance to win as Hearns, Tito, SRR or SRL

Enough with the weight difference talk. SRL beat Hagler; Duran held his own against Hagler; B-Hop beat Tarver; RJJ beat Ruiz; Tito destroyed Joppy; etc.

If we start giving smaller fighters more leeway and saying, "The other guy was bigger" what about the advantages of speed, elusiveness and more stamina (smaller fighters can throw more punches)?

It is upto the elite fighters to negotiate fights at weights where they will perform well. Mackie Shilstone enabled RJJ & B-Hop to fight at their optimum weight.

No reason why Winky couldn't try to negotiate other fights at 154 or 160 except maybe money.

I respect Winky but the weight difference (or strength difference, since they both weighted the same) is irrelevant when tallying the scores.
