Pavlik is ducking Winky? Whatever

Winky would get stopped for the 1st time in his career if he faced Pavlik.

 

A prime Wright would easily outclass Pavlik not so sure now his legs are gone.

 

How is he ducking him when he has yet to defend his titles? Plus, who knows what JT will do? I know Pavlik doesn't care who he fights next. Obviously, a tuneup fight would be nice considering the his recent past two fights, but Pavlik I don't believe will duck anybody.

 

Of course Winky is no Floyd!!, no-one is that's why Floyd is the best in the world atsch , and furthermore i was talking about the size and reach differences which people keep going on about, the comparison was mainly about a big brawler with zero defence (Pavlik) and a smaller defensive fighter with great technical skills (Wright). Pavlik has not faced anyone remotely like Winky so i don't know how people can be so confident of the outcome.

 

No doubt. And with his newly formed detractors he will always be ducking somebody now that every body around the weight is trying to call him out.

Winky pissed away the Taylor rematch and now Pav is ducking him???? GTFO.

 

Everybody sees the flaws in Pavlik's style and they all think they can be the one to expose him. His defense is subpar and he does get hit a lot, even though he has a pretty solid chin. Taylor has almost no defense and backs himself into a corner too much with his hands down and that's why he got knocked out. I used to think Pavlik was a bum, but everytime he fights he impresses me more and more, but other fighters just look at his flaws and that's why they call him out. He is very young and has a tendency to want to brawl a little too much, so I think a prime hopkins would outbox him.....maybe.

 

I don't think Winky gets stopped, but he'd get pounded and badly outpointed in a UD loss. As others have pointed out, his legs have lost bounce, and I think Kelly could break through the guard to make Wink feel his power.

And then Winky probably starts to cover up to prevent from getting starched, but he sacrifices punch output in the process.

Interesting challenge for Kelly, but I just wish they could find a way to make the Abraham fight.

 

It's the same old story. Guys who can't draw the fans are desperate to fight them that can.

 

i think a bad mismatch for winky. i only give winky a chance to catch pavlik and knock him out (not likely since winky is not a knock out fighter). winky's jab and defend style would be badly exposed in this one. pavlik has a longer and much harder jab. also, against a guy with the knockout power of pavlik, a fighter should not stand and block, some punches would get through. i think winky would take an accumulation of punches that would see him losing a UD of get knocked out.
