at 154 winky would easily beat him

Forrest is a really bad style for Wright, even prime to prime.

But, Wright at 154 is also better than Forrest would have been even prime. It will be a very close fight, I'll think about this one.

Like I said, Forrest barely beat a faded Quartey whom fights similarly to Winky, only Winky is a lot more solid behind that high guard. Forrest also doesn't adapt to constant pressure all that well either.. not to say that Winky's a swarmer or anything, but he's a constant come forward fighter. I see him landing the more cleaner shots, while Forrest lands mostly partially blocked shots.

 

Quartey was robbed against Forrest and i bet even Forrest knows that deep inside. And i think after the fight, Merchant said something like this to Forrest, "Did you pay off the judges or something?"

 

Winky by clear UD. Winky was simply a monster at this weight.

 

Oh, and let's not forget that Winky and Forrest both fought Quartey. Forrest stole one from Quartey and Winky dominated Quartey.

 

Winky walks around right now at 190. I can definitely see him being one of those guys that just "lets go" after he's retired. He loves Krispy Kreme and Dominos.
