Winky vs Williams OFFICIAL DONE APRIL 11th HBO

I'm predicting something like 9-3 8-4 in favor of Winky, the disparity in skills are too far apart.

 

Im going with Winky on this one!

I think he will land the cleaner and harder shots.

 

Williams still has the height and reach advantage. If Williams can just keep throwin punches he can steal a decision. That's what Vargas did and Williams throw's more punches than Vargas and has better stamina. Although Winky is very good defenisvely. It's a pick em fight.

I like Winky in this one. Dont know how much the layoff is going to affect him but i still think he pulls off a comfortable decision.

 

To say he has no chance isn't true.

 

Hold on guys, Paul wins this one, although its easy to see why winky might.. Dont forget that Williams will double wrights output, and when connections are made, williams shots will be the harder ones.. that high guard of winks will be a great oppurtunity for bid body shots.

 

If PW can beat Winky it would catapult him into the top 7 p4p IMO

 

This is a really interesting fight and for once, I can't decide who I think will win.
Someone mentioned that Winky might knock Paul Williams out but I don't see that happening. PW took a lot of hard shots from Quintana in their first fight as well as Antonio Margarito (plaster or not).
Plus Winky isn't known for his KO power, he hasn't knocked someone out since 2002 against Jason Papillion.

 

Interesting fight, high workrate against excellent defense and counterpunching. I am going with the fresher pwill, I think he has an excellent chin, good jab and decent pop. Pwill decision.

All I have to say is, if Winky loses, he should retire ASAP.
