why would anyone "want" winky to win unless they were a winky fan

winky's career is about to be over
    pw's career is taking off

True, I dont want Winky to win at all. I want PW to put him out of his misery for good.

Older fighters who have been fighting, have proven themselves, gave good fights tend to get more love when fighting a young gun who hasn't been approved by the crowd.

Thats another reason why I feel if its close, they're gonna give it to PW. They did the same thing in Hopkins vs Taylor & Dawson vs Johnson. They know that PW has potential to be a dominant fighter and a big draw, and they know what Winky is about.

That is the reason, Willimas is starting to fight guys who's career is over.

That fight makes sense only for Winky who is cheery picking his
opponents once per two years. Williams need to fight for the belts
to prove he is the best not the guys who should retire already,
that is the job for Calzaghe & Hopkins.

I want Winky to win becuase I think it does more for the middleweight division than a Williams win would. If Paul wins, a lot of people will say Winky was shot. If Winky wins, we would have to conclude that Wright is a long ways from done.

    First Hopkins over Pavlik..

    Then Mosley over Margarito..

Winky must complete the "old man upsets younger champion" trifecta!

dog WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!

paul williams is never fight sergei dzinzurik.. so dont even bring up that guys name... he tried for clottey, pavlik, margarito and they all blackballed him or didnt happen because of circumstance.... what more do you want from this guy...he's fighting to pace himself to higher weights...

verno @ 154 who was a rugged vet who has never been stopped.... pw did that... and showed that pw has strength @154
winky @ 160 who is a rugged vet that has never been stopped... this fight will test pw's at 160.... its a great test and if he wins it will be a great name in his resume and a great test

how do you know that though?

what if pw is a total beast at 160 and he looks phenomenal?

Williams will outhustle him. Winky has always struggled with workrate and has never beaten anyone of note who he wasn't substantially bigger than physically who he could dominate with his jab and strength

Am I the only one who thinks that the reach is just an important factor as Wright's inactivity?
