WINKY WRIGHT (the man who dominated Trinidad at 160 in '05) vs JAMES TONEY (the man who beat Mike McCallum at 160 in '92) Please vote and explain how you think this fight would go.
This would be a notoriously ugly affair. Winky wouldn't feel comfortable pressuring James becaue he would eat counters, and James never really liked leading the action. Throw in the fact that Winky would throw up the turtle shell and it would be ugly. However, I see James landing the cleaner, more effective punches, eeking out a close decision that would be contested by many.
It could look like Toney Vs. Nunn all over again... A middleweight James Toney had some serious "Pop". (His only flaw was his lack of motivation/training & love of food) If I had to pick, I'd ride with Toney.
It likely goes to a contested decision. I'm going to refrain from voting because it'll be a matter of what type of fighting you prefer, probably.
