    In here - I only state the facts about a fight.

    I give my opinion about the fighters.

    What I say is not law - but I can back up my comments.

    But I see what you guys are saying - well everyone with the exception of West Coast!

    Not a go at you man. Was a go at westcoast you dont just take what you said and therefore if Pavlik does not fight Winky then Pavlik is ducking him and is a coward.

    Right now - he'll fight anyone with a big name from 147 to 175 - which is crazy.

    He's called out Mayweather - Oscar - Pavlik - & Calzaghe - that's 4 different weight classes right there. (did I miss anyone)

    His style is not fan friendly and he's a tough person to beat - which leaves him without a fight. Too bad for Winky. He should have taken the Taylor rematch.

    Winky is a sissy "'sniff', Ahhhh, I want to fight the best, 'sniff', huhu, but only if my purse is as high as $5 million, 'sniff', and I want those fights straight ahead, no need to aprove my status being an ATG"...

    Here are my recommended fights for Mr. W(right):

    @147: Miguel Cotto
    @154: Vernon Forrest
    @160: Arthur Abraham
    @168: Mikkel Kessler

    To me, Wright is pretending his status as being an elite fighter in both terms (k, he is one when it comes to skills but not when it comes to entertainment) - so he should even prove himself vs. the toughest challengers at those weightclasses or he should take a cut on his purse.

    If none of those 2 options are appealing to him, then he should RETIRE and not get on one's nerves...

    One should take lightly gossips like this one - Kelly Pavlik is to fight Jermain Taylor at above 160 pounds in February 16 and we are supposed to believe he's going down to 160 to face Winky in March? This just doesn't sit well in the gut and is more likely to someone's mental diarrhoea... But I do agree that winking after every miserable round of pure one-handed boxing gets on everybody's nerves.

    Winky is that kind of fighter - pile'em high, sell' em cheap mentality - a living boxing clinic that is supposed to visit technically flawed patients and launch feather fisted - sophisticated attacks that only connoisseurs of the sour science of anti-fighting will give credit for. Pity is that even fighting in his hometown against another natural welter/super-welter Quartey, most are likely to leave the place with narcolepsy symptoms and bloating uncomfortably... The problem is that some of these rumours are blown out of proportion and not reprimanded at once, feed themselves and grow bigger as time goes by.

    I believe Ronald has the moral W(right) to look for a title fight at 154 pounds where he was undisputed champion and even a fight at 168 if it was to be against Taylor - at 160 pounds, the WBC has Taylor, Lorenzo, Duddy, Sylvester and Lopez in front of him and he's not rated in top 15 by the WBA so neither Pavlik nor Sturm have to give him a shot... Abraham may fight him cause only Sylvester, Taylor and Lorenzo stand in front of him by the IBF ratings but he would have to go to Germany. But there we go again, if Wright is the man to shut down Pavlik technically, how come Arthur Abraham is not? Pointless...

    Pavlik is not ducking Winky if does not fight him right after Taylor Winky needs to be coming off a win over a few good opponents too fight Pavlik.
    After all Winky looked bad in the last rounds of his fight Hopkins so a fight with Pavlik would not sell this point.

    No I don't think it's gonna happen . . . Winky might just be mentioning names because he is being left out in the dark. Too long of inactivity.

    Winky doesnt deserve a titleshot at MW , he hasnt done anything there . Taylor won their fight . What has Winky done to deserve a titleshot at 160 ? I like Winky , but this has to be said

    :patsch Give me a break with Winky being on another level. Yes, he is better technically, but stylistically, this is a bad fight for him. He gets busted up like never before, loses a UD, or gets TKO'd for the first time in his career.

    i love pavlik and winky - both excellent fighters in their own way

    but despite wright being past his prime i believe he could take pavlik via majority decision
    hes got the technique down
