    ESPN Boxing.com:

    • With Winky Wright's left hand injury forcing him to withdraw from a Dec. 4 Versus bout, which would have been his first since a loss to Bernard Hopkins in July 2007, he won't return to action until early next year, either Feb. 28 or March 14 on HBO. Golden Boy says it is talking with three potential opponents, all of which are notable: middleweight titleholder Arthur Abraham, super middleweight titlist Mikkel Kessler and interim junior middleweight belt holder Paul Williams. If it's Williams, the bout could be pushed into April because Williams is healing from a severe cut suffered in his Nov. 29 win against Verno Phillips.

He needs to return and figth someone smaller in name if hes gonna come back after a year and a half, almost two year layoff. I'd like to see him fight Williams, but not after this insctivity.

They are three great opponants. I would like to see him fight any of those of them. If I had to, I'd put them in this order: 1) Williams 2) Abraham 3) Kessler. Big Kessler fan but he's no doubt to big for Winky.

I think you guys are are too quick to write Winky off. He was a p4p elite fighter until the Taylor draw and the Hopkins loss at a weight well beyond his capability. Damn his stocks fell quick after those two fights. IMO he schools Abraham and gives Williams a really close fight, hard to pick.

Personally, I am not writting him off cause everyone has a chance, however, you can't deny that taking any of these fights and being laid off for some long it will have a toll on him.

If Winky can maintain any ability he had before this layoff I'd take him to beat Abraham wide UD.

Keep sleeping on Winky if you'll want to.

I only give Kessler a chance at beating him out of those 3.
