It would be a competitive fight. Wright is far better than anyone Golovkin has faced so far but GGG represents a tough style for Wright. Consistent pressure and a high workrate have seen Wright lose more than once. His losses to Simon and Vargas show how Wright can be made to struggle when he isn't given space or time to do his thing. Golovkin excels in applying pressure and he can throw a lot of punches, he averaged 79 punches a round in the 31 minutes Murray lasted against him. So at the very least Golovkin would give Wright all he could handle, if not beat him.
are you new? tito was a ww ffs. superior and bigger technician in wright took him to school. size does matter and especially when you have a smart p4p punching beast behind it. tito had his problems with boxers. :yep
GGG is all wrong for Winky. Did Murray's turtle shell defense worked for him? Did Steven's tight guard worked for him? GGG loops around the guard and attacks the body. I would be shocked if Winky win more than 2 rounds in this fight.
Winky couldn't last more than a couple rounds, IF THAT long. Most of you really have to start speaking with your brain instead of your hearts. Makes you total facking idiotic fans
Are you really trying to say tito (in my top 5 ALL TIME) is anywhere remotely close to ggg in power or skills? Come on, get a facking grip
Wright had excellent but not perfect defense. It was designed to withstand a sustained and heavy attack, but not from somebody with the multidimensional and surgical ability to ferret out an opening that Golovkin possesses. Many laid siege to Winky's guard and lost the war, but few of them had Golovkin's offensive technique, versatility, power or patience & IQ, let alone the entire package rolled into one. His right jab was also very potent but again, designed to jam up the works of guys with less going on upstairs than Golovkin.
Few of them ??? Zero of his opponents represented anything close to what ggg represents. Tito was the most dangerous fighter he fought, and tito was like 2 weight classes below him
Feather fisted Willie Monroe got dropped in the 2nd but was able to make it to the 6th. Martin Murray got dropped TWICE in the 4th but made it to the 11th. Adama was down in the 1st but made it to the 7th. Stevens was down in the 2nd but made it to the 8th. Proska was down in the 1st but made it to the 5th. Lemieux was down in the 5th but was stopped on his feet in the 8th. Like I said, when the Triple Duck puts guys down, they tend to get up and go rounds. When 160 Trinidad put guys down, they tended to stay there...
