At Jr middle, even though I think Curry was a better fighter overall, at 154, the special fighter at welterweight was there no more, and Winky would probably win a close decision.

    That's my thought as well.

Curry wasn't the same guy at 154 compared to welter. And winky is all wrong style wise with that good jab. Decision bout all the way and Winky isn't winning any fight 11-1 anyway. Everything is close and this would be close on the cards as well.

Man, that honeyghan fight gets talked about enough--how about how donald looked against Jacquot? I lost some $$ on that one.

Curry's problems came against bigger punchers, in a pure boxing match he has the speed and skill to beat Winky and hurt him too. He was still looking very good at 154 until McCallum scored that knock out punch.

yeah, i think the Curry that tested the waters there pre-Honeyghan against Hard Rock Green and that fought McCallum would beat Winky.Anything post-McCallum form and he doesn't have the balance or sharpness anymore.
