    Between the 2 tricky defensive southpaws who do you favor in this fight? Would a prime Wright be able to handle the slick movement of Lara? Both fought Paul Williams, although Wright was already past it and Lara was straight up robbed.

    Either a nice chess match or an incredibly dull borefest.

    I don't know, but I think Winky lost to all of the notable southpaws he fought (Vasquez and Williams).

    Bernard Hopkins put a clinic on Winky by circling him and not allowing him to get set ...I could see Lara fighting that type of fight

    From what I remembered it was a much closer fight and Wright gave Hopkins a tough fight despite being the smaller guy. It was a dirty fight by Hopkins and both guys didn't look that good.

    Williams? Are you serious? Winky was totally washed up when he fought Williams. Totally irrelevant loss.

    This would be a competitive fight. Lara has the talent and skill level to have beaten Wright, but I cant help but feel like he blows it by not letting his hands go enough.

    Winky outworks Lara.

    Williams always would've beaten Winky though. It was a styles thing. Lara obviously has little in common with Williams though.

    Doubtful. A young Wright would have soundly outclassed Williams.

    He beat Bronco three times. I wouldn't count the Williams fight. He was pretty much done at that point. I have Winky by UD.

    I’m gonna rewatch the fight ...because I don’t remember it being close ....I do remember the dirty tactics...and it’s always hard to score a Hopkins fight

    He also beat the Hell outta southpaw Adrian Dodson, who was an unbeaten prospect until Wright dismantled him.

    It was a very ugly fight that I would have no desire in going back to. Wright should never have moved up to 170 and Hopkins did a lot of dirty tactics like headbutts. I found it to be closer than what the scorecards indicated, although Hopkins did what he had to do to win such as spoil, clinch, circle, and take away Wrights jab.

    No he wouldn't. His loses except Hopkins and Quillin were pretty much to people who threw a lot of punches.

    This for me. Lara is too negative here to take it. Lara's skill level, IQ, and reach could give Winky problems, but I like him to take most rounds based off that jab.
