It'll be shown that he's not that good. He's just a puncher, not a boxer.
But this forum is lame rite about now, only bums that dont know the p4p definition seem to be logged in. I'll catch you tomorrow during the day when the real boxing fans log on, maybe we can teach you what boxing is all about! No hard feelings, just entertainment on the net. Have a goodnite, dont let the Calzaghe bandwagon syndrome get you.:good

    1. Your the bum that doesn't know **** about boxing.

    2. Teach me what boxing is about? I haven't heard 1 interesting comment from you in your 2,000+ posts. Not 1 comment that talks about fighter's styles. All you say are 5 word sentences which say "X fighter will beat X."

    3. Calzaghe bandwagon syndrome? WTF r u talking bout?

sigh...you rjj nut-huggers find a way to work your hate on Calzaghe in every thread I guess. Give it up, your man got beaten up, dominated, humiliated, embarassed. And while he wasn't at his best, he also might not be as shot as you people claim now. Don't worry he won't be alone, when AA exposes and sparks out that american hype job Kelly Pavlik.

Back on topic though. This is a bad match-up for AA and I hope he stays away from that. Too much risk, too little reward, because unless he bombs Winky out (which is unlikely) he might lose on points or people will say Winky is just shot...

Yep, the fight with Sturm would make much more sense.

And why is it that people are always talking about somebody got exposed when he lost? I don´t get it, losing is part of the sport. The great fighters of the past lost also and some quite often - remember Emile Griffith for example?

I´m a big Abraham fan but he has his flaws. His stamina isn´t too good, he is lazy, his footwork is only average, his technique is sloppy at times, he is open to counters when he opens up and he fights down to the level of his opponents. On the opposite he has good handspeed, good defence, an iron chin and will, a good judge of distance and timing, good counterpunching skills, good ring generalship ans possibly the hardes punch p4p right now and he carries his power up into the last round. He certainly is a good fighter. Arguable the best mw right now - I think he´s number 2 - and you could put him anywhere between 10 and 20 on a p4p list. One of the best out there at the moment. Calling him not is just a sign that this guy is either biased against him, doesn´t like his style or doesn´t know much about what he is talking.

AA will be the first to KO Winky. Sure, he's awkward, but the ring rust will show bad on Wink.

Can Wright beat AA? Yes, he can. Is is likely that he beats him? I don't know to be honest. Do I personally think he will beat him? No, he won't, because AA is underrated. He is not all hype. He is no Sam Peter. I would like to see the fight, but I would like to see AA fighting Sturm and Pavlik first.

First, that´s no reason. Second, no he´s not. He´s rated where he belongs at the moment and i can´t see anybody hyping him.

    Winky - Abraham would be a 50-50.

Winky has a good chin, as good a defence and a better jab and offence.

If I had to pick one of them, I'd lean ever so slightly towards Winky.

You're right that was no valid argument, it was an opinion.
I'm biased and imho he is underrated. Winky has never dealt with someone who punches as hard as AA does. If he isn't 100% in shape he won't be able to go 12 rounds against Arthur.
