This fight isn't happening. Winky was offered 1.5 million to fight Abraham and turned it down to fight Munoz on Versus in BFE for peanuts. Abraham vs Sturm will get made, and then we will have the winner either fight Pavlik, or if Abraham wins he also has the option of going up to 168. Winky screwed himself, again.

Split broadcast would be great, but AA will make much more money in Germany I would think. That would make a split broadcast with this card difficult. PPV would be crap for this card.

Also, my damned browser is broken so I can't watch this clip. Is WR/AA going to be a 160 title fight?

 

Strange, but many griped about his last match up which is the one that impressed me the most. He was just more aggressive and systematically beat the will out of Marquez. I guess you can blame AA for making Marquez quit? :huh

Winky wanted the fight in the states and wanted 2.5, that is who he thinks he is.

Sturm and Abraham will make 3.75 each for fighting each other, and they will do so in front of 25,000 people and 8 million viewers in Germany, so why the hell would Arthur need to put up with Winky's antics.

He can have fun making 100,000 fighting Munoz in some podunk casino outside of Seattle.

You are saying that Sauerland offered the fight, Universem accepted it and Abraham cancelled it ? Dont seem to be logic he ? Sturm is a *****, running from everybody. Paper champ.

 

I believe HBO is dumping this unless they can get a solid second fight. Obviously Pav v Rubio will not be a big hit. However, this means it'll be an open market for the fight. (Showtime)

I would assume if Winky and AA comes to fruition, it'll be at MW.

No, I did not say so. What I say is this. Sturm said he´d fight Abraham for 5 Mio., later it was 3 Mio, when the press asked Abraham about this and mentioned that this fight won´t happen because of money, Abraham said he fought for free. The answer from the Sturm camp was, if Abraham signs a contract to do so the fight is on. Abraham´s promoter said no. That´s what happened.

You know, when you don´t know what you are talking about you should just stfu.

 

This is a TERRIBLE fight for AA - I don't see him with a chance unless Winky is very, very, very ring rusty.

 

Winky is semi-retired. This is not the type of fight for Winky after an extended break.
