It looks like representatives from Golden Boy have contaced team Kessler about a fight between the two in March or April. Kessler doesn't have any mandos due, so I see no real reason why this fight can't get made. This is a chance for both of these guys to reestablish themselves.

I would love this fight for Mikkel. I would be 100% confident, unlike Hopkins, and its a big name that would at least get his profile up again, even if Wright is not really a credible super middleweight.

Dream fight for Kessler in risk v reward terms.

Zero chance of losing, but Wright is for some reason still seen as a credible name despite having been retired for over a year.

Kessler will get very little credit for this fight and rightly so.

    That's a gross exaggeration.

That's true. Well a little one anyway.

He could be struck by lightening, or anything.

I don't want to see Wright fight. If he had any notion of reaching the upper echelons again he'd either make JMW or MW, as those are the divisions he has a chance to shine in.

Shame the Abraham fight didn't come off really, even if it had the potential to be a borefest.

Winky has a legitimate shot at beating Kessler. Winky would probably be the second best fighter that Kessler has faced.

Kessler will bust him up bad in this fight and end what is left of his career.Prime Winky is at 154 and let's say he was a good 160 fighter.Anything over that isn't helping Winky.Don't think the fight will hapen anyway.

I doubt that an fresh-out-of-retirement 168lb Winky would be the second best fighter Kessler has faced. Proof is in the seeing obviously. Winky near his best would be. I just don't see how he could possibly be anywhere near that.

Wow you smoke crack?lol It funny when a boxing fan is in love with a fighter they do not look at things with any logic. Winky is a amazing boxer. it would not be a easy at all for him.

Winky never retired. Even coming off of a long layoff, I still say he's better than anyone that Kessler has fought besides Calzaghe.
