I would guess that Kessler will offer Wright a match very soon if he hasn't do so already. Wright is a credible opponent and Kessler is a big enough draw in Denmark to offer Wright an acceptable paycheck.
Kessler would love to have a name like Winky on his resume. Kessler also says he wants to fight in the States and beating Winky would get him some big fights here in the States.. But unless Winky is getting some kind of massive paycheck, he has nothing to gain by fighting Kessler.
If Kessler wishes to make a name for himself in the United States, then it makes sense because Winky is a very recognizable name. If he cannot secure fights with Bute or some of the top contenders, then this wouldn't be a bad option. It would raise him profile and I have no second thoughts about him winning this. For Winky, it doesn't make too much sense at all. He isn't big enough to beat the best at 168 nor does he have the legs he once had. This would bring decent money, but nothing more. He's better off facing Taylor, Pavlik, Abraham, Spinks, De La Hoya, or Forrest.
I would want Winky to win, but he does not belong above 160. It's really a shame that he does not carry the extra weight better. Technically, he is better than Kessler. Kessler has every other advantage though, size, strenth, etc. His straights would really frustrate Winky and eventually wear him down and begin to land.
That was a pretty good counter-uppercut. Calzaghe made the mistake of not slipping to the left and looping a righthook at Kessler.
depends very much on wether they saw it coming - Calzaghe did. If he hadn't he would have been down - but well if if if Doubt Winky will come at Kessler like that though.
dont know about that, andrade got dropped by yusef mack. kessler couldnt do that. he hits hard but doesnt have that concussive power. at less than smw winky has a pretty decent chance. hopkins is the master of making you look like shite in i fight. winky still has alot left.
