Winky Wright wants Pavlik

Like I said in the other thread, you really think Pavlik is going to fight the LOSER of the Williams/Wright fight for his belts? I don't think so...... Haters comments to the contrary.

 

yup,hes gotta make more noise and then hell get more fights.u cant just come off a two year lay off get beat by williams and expect the world.

 

Winky would get TKOed IMO. He has no legs. He used to be somewhat slick when he had the legs to move around a bit but now he's a stationary target for Pavlik's straight punches. And Winky lacks the power to get Pavlik's respect. Bad matchup for Winky.

 

This is a fight that makes no sense for Pavlik. He would get little to no credit for beatting Winky at this point, and yet there is a very good chance that he could lose. Winky is the wrong style for Pavlik and if he has anything left in the tank it would be a very tough fight. On the flip side should he beat Winky then it would be a case of him being shot and Kelly beatting up an old man.

I dont know about every one eles but I would personally love to see Pavlik vs Green.

 

Who is Kelly fighting again??? I dont think that its a fighter as good as even a 75% Winky... Who did he fight in his last fight??? Give me a break, I could see your point if not for the fact that Pavlik has only fought 4 viable and legit fighters in his entire career.atsch

 

Aerreola is fun to watch and wink is boring as ****??? You got **** ass backwards buddy. Aerreola is like watching paint dry. Wink is 10x more exciting then aerreola.

 

If HBO has to choose between Winky Wright or Lucian Bute for Pavlik's next fight. Who do you think they will choose?

The guy who lost every round in his last fight or the guy who scored a spectacular knock out against someone who was said to be unstoppable?

Which one would sell more tickets and get more people to tune in?

 

I don't think the figth happens. I don't like it for PAvlik anyway, bad style matchup.....at least it would've been a few years back.....who knows what Winky's got left.

 

First, it's to bad Winky bitched out about five different times back when he was relevant. Kelly Pavlik called Winky's name for YEARS, and Winky went deaf eveytime.

Second, Prime Winky was to small and didn't hit hard enough to deal with Pavlik. Winky fought McKart 3 ****ing times. Pavlik fought McKart once. Bronco got stopped for the first time ever, and didn't want no more. Winky fought Taylor and the best he could manage was a draw. Pavlik fought Taylor, and handed him his ass. No version of Winky Wright ever beats Kelly Pavlik. Prime Winky would last about 10 rounds. Old Winky might last 5.

Third, I actually like Winky, and have defended him in this forum many times over the years. However, I would love to see Pavlik take this fight after Williams, and shut winky the **** up!

 

The fact that Pav got pwned by BH does not in any way indicate that a washed up Winky can withstand Kelly's assault. That is all. Carry on.

 

This would basically, SOMEWHAT, look like a future AA vs Pavlik fight. I know my fellow posters know what I am trying to get at. The only difference is obviously power(AA), the jabbing contest(WW) and body attack(AA). Interesting fight which is very intriguing, Pavlik hits to hard and won't worry about what is coming back. KP TKO or KO Winky Wright, either early or later in the fight.

 

If Pavlik takes this fight he is offically ducking Williams..

You never know, I mean he is fighting Espino. Williams is going to be called to fight Martinez and I rather see that instead.
