The more I think about this the less I understand it! Winky, at 36, is obviously in the twighlight of his career. Pavlik definitely wants to fight him. Ultimately it's not up to Bob Arum or Cameron Dunkin. It's up to Kelly. All Wright has to do is beat up Rubio, and then Pavlik/Wright could be hyped into a huge event. On another note; at one point rumour had it that Arum told Winky to go after the WBA title, and he'd make the fight happen. Sturm or Rubio, either one is probably damn near a night off for Winky! What if Winky beat Pavlik? He would be the man who, at 36 years of age, took the man's zero! That seals his legacy doesn't it? Why won't he just get off his ass and go do it? It's definitely worth the effort and risk.

And then there is this business of just appointing mandatories instead of making them earn it. Are Lockett and Rubio more deserving than Winky? I think not.

Sometimes boxing and its personalities and politics are a ****ing mystery!

****ing Hermit -- He's the man now when it comes to avatars!!! That thing first appeared on the Pantera thread. I said Abraham has "THE BALLS" of a rhinocerous to come to the USA and rematch Miranda. Hermit put up that pic to illustrate my point. Next thing I know he's using it as an avatar! That was days ago, and I'm still laughing!!!

You can thank Boo for that one. He posted something like AA had the balls of a rhino to get back in with Miranda. I retorted with , "Or a little squirelly" and posted that pic. Then I thought... Hmmm..... I've not really had a 'proper' avatar yet.....

    Hermit,

Is that pic of the squirrel real in terms of the balls or was it just added?

I'm sure it is a photoshop. http://fark.com produce many of the photoshop pictures that end up on the web as urban legend. Ever seen the shark/helictoper photo?
