    Ha!

    Don’t be ridiculous.

    Winky wanted the fight.

He’d agreed to Floyd and his management’s wishes.

It was Floyd who tried to change the terms at the last second.

We don’t need to hire Columbo to work this one out.

He ran his mouth off, before the reality set in.

If you think Floyd easily beats Wright, well, casual.

    Spanked?

Disputable losses to Simon, Vargas, bogus draw to Taylor.

He was not at his best weight for Hopkins and everyone with half a brain knows it.

    Just stfu

Yeah. We did. Thank you :)

I didn't say easily, he'd just figure his style out after a couple rounds.

Winky was skilled and bigger just like GGG. Even Floyd has the ref and the judges on his side they were too risky to take. Remember Floyd was protecting his O. Fghting Winky was too risky.

How was that a gift? It was a close fight that he won.

Of course, Wright could have beaten Mayweather. He was bigger and I think he could have walked down Mayweather behind his high guard. Mayweather has nothing to keep him off either. Wright was a really strong, durable guy.

I love these hypotheticals with Mayweather fans. They have more courage and believe more in their hero than their hero believed in himself in some of these matchups.

1st Castllo and Maidana. I can argue as well when he fought Dela Hoya for

1st Castllo and Maidana. I can argue as well when he fought Dela Hoya and Pac. Only the American media and Floyd fans say he won against Pac

In 2005 Wright had just dismantled Shane Mosley twice and Felix Trinidad and was on the top of everyone's p4p list while Floyds biggest name was Arturo Gatti. Wright would have easily beaten Floyd at that time frame and it could of happened at the end of 2005 but Floyd backed out of negotiations, instead Floyd had a pointless fight vs a shot Shamba Mitchell while Wright was forced to fight the lowly regarded Sam Soliman.

Mayweather is far from unbeatable, but I just don't see a basic high guard boxer spamming a jab cross at him all fight, winning 7 rounds against a prime'ish Mayweather.

The style matchup is wrong for him, imo. He's just too basic for the matchup.

Mayweather would eek out a competitive UD.

His movement would be too much.

Winky was big buts its not like he was a giant. And he wouldn't have enough size here to negate Mayweathers ring generalship once Mayweather found his groove.

Mayweather 7 rounds to 5 in a competitive fight, but one in which Wink falls short.
