This is the next fight I think that would be made, since all are Goldenboy and given that Khan beats Maidana, this fight would make him bigger in the USA and closer to a PPV attraction, and Khan is Goldenboy's future cash cow.

Who would be the last man standing out of the four,

    Khan vs Maidana
    Katsidis vs Marquez.

    To be bumped.

I agree with you, i think they're looking to make Marquez vs. Khan. I don't see the winner of Bradley/Alexander fighting Khan straight afterwards.

Well, I'd much rather see Khan/Maidana v Bradley/Alexander. This is what has to happen to create a clear #1 at 140.

JMM shouldn't fight above 135 and besides that, Khan is a horrible match-up for him.

Maidana-Katsidis would be the best fight, a guaranteed slug-fest. I think this is more likely to happen if they both lose their upcoming fights though.

    That's exactly what I'm thinking.

Marquez a few days ago threw Khan's name into the hat when talking about making history up at 140. And just today, he gave the real reasons why he turned down a Khan-fight this year - back problems.

I'm having serious doubts about the Bradley-Alexander fight sticking to the planned January 29th date. I think it'll be pushed back - maybe to February/March - giving Khan and Golden Boy the perfect opportunity to squeeze in a fight with someone else.....Marquez.

aww **** i hope the winner of kahn maidana fights the winner of bradley alexander.so we can have one man the king of 140 and then let him make his move to other things.marquez should rest and wait for something good to come his way.i think he might struggle with a talented boxer like kahn.height and the reach and his speed will cause jmm hissy fits i think.

They will eventually fight, but not next up IMO. They'll probabily wanna juice it up a little more. Especially if it's Khan/Bradley.

Marquez either wants PACQUIAO, To fight KHAN at 140 and make history... or give fans the fight they never got JMM vs Morales at 140.

He wants to please us with great fights...

So yeah JMM vs the winner of that fight would be great and he can make history if he wishes to do so.. all he has to do is destroy KATS>

JMM has recently become a natural 140 pounder anyways.

Saying JMM is a natural 140lb'er is like saying Pac is a natural junior-middleweight ... only more ridiculous.

What an achievement it would be if he were to grab a WBA belt off Khan/Maidana at light-welterweight. If he manages to get by Katsidis, I honestly think he should give it a shot. We all know Khan is vulnerable, and Maidana - bar his power and size - is tailor-made for the masterful JMM. Noone deserves it more than he does. Make it happen Golden Boy!

Disagree with that, Marquez is a small lightweight.

If Khan was to get past Maidana, I have no doubt in my mind that he'd be able to beat the winner of Mar/Kats

This fight would make perfect money sense, and be a big event fight.

However if Khan gets past Maidana i expect most people on here to be demanding he face a bare-knuckled Randall Bailey with both arms tied behind his back, to "prove he's not a fraud"
