Just imagine it, Wilder Stiverne 2, Wilder Molina 2... all in the space of a year. What a true Champion. 2019 dont be surprised when Stiverne and Molina get it on for the Mandatory spot. 2024 Wilder retires 51-0 calls himself TBE and ends his career with Wilder vs Molina 6

The golden rule of the wbc when it comes to heavyweight manfatories for the last 6 years is you have to be american and useless to actually become a mandatory

Fury had fougght two eliminators with the wbc then out of no where wilder gets a mandatory after beating scuba Scott. Fury called out the corruption

On too of that the wbc looked over higher ranked better fighter to set up arreola stivenre think stiverne was such a bum Chris would become the first Mexican heavyweight champion.

White and tons of fighters are ranked higher but they give two tenderised puddings the final eliminator.
My advice to all non american heavyweights, ignore the wbc they don't want u as their mandatory, the wbc is basically the same level as a British title

Brezeale vs Whyte was rumoured for the WBC eliminator, if Eddie and the bum snatcher had offered significant money, rather fighting shot Helenius. Then the winner would go on to fight Wilder. Too bad, Molina will lose anyway.

like seriously, when is Wilder gonna fight a significant opponent other than a Cash out fight with AJ?

he's so content fighting with these bums.

The WBC's standards to earn a mandatory slot seem to be woefully low. Apparently Molina beating a fighter with a 13-35-17 record in James Woods was enough for Molina to get an eliminator. Molina has been KO'ed every time he's stepped up. He's a journeymen pure and simple he shouldn't of ever got a title shot let alone be a potential mandatory. But hey this is the WBC, the same organisation that gave Arreola shot after shot by beating journeymen.

Breazeale at least beat a prospect in Ugonoh recently but even he is undeserving of a mandatory position. But Breazeale should win this. I expect him to KO Molina.

u know...it wouldn't surprise me if that after this fight, after Stiverne loses, he will fight someone like Molina, beat him and all of a sudden, he becomes a mandatory again.

and Wilder will be like "but I have to face my mandatory". Wilder will ACT like a champ and talk about the importance of fighting his mandatories (provided they're bums) but the moment, a top fighter becomes his mandatory, he's gonna be like, he's on PEDs!

This is why, when there is a fight people want to see, the promoters need to make it NOW.

I always scratch my head when promoters who have been in the business forever stall when the fans want to see a big fight.

The fans and the promoters need to stop this "Wilder has to fight Whyte in the UK to build up an audience" stuff. Or 'Joshua needs to come to the U.S. to build up his name recognition' garbage.

Because it's difficult enough to make a fight. And when multiple belts are on the line, the sanctioning bodies ALWAYS get in the way. ALWAYS. Joshua 'HAD' to fight Takam or Pulev. Wilder 'HAD' to fight a rematch with Stiverne and now will 'HAVE' to fight another mando in like three months.

So now early next spring is off the table for a Joshua-Wilder fight. And as soon as Joshua is ready to go, the WBA (which is the worst of them all) will no doubt raise its head again.

When a fight is there the fans want, MAKE IT. None of this "let it marinate" or "let it build" or "wait until this guy fights this guy" ... it never works out.

The fights people want to see "never get bigger" by waiting. More often than not, they have less appeal when (or "if") they get made than if they'd taken place when both fighters were rolling and interest was high.

People really arent looking at the rankings and whats going on !

    So lets look....

1.Stiverne...hes out if he loses which they are assuming.
    2.Ortiz. suspended
3.Whyte . Just won WBC silver belt.
    4. Ruiz. Hes losing his spot bc of inactivity.
    5. Takam. Just lost..hes out.
    6. Breazale.

o.k thats top 6...and we see now WHY Breazeale is at a top spot bc THREE/ FOUR ( if stiverne loses)fighters are now removed. That puts Breazeale at number 2 spot really. So if anything the question should be why is not Whyte the mando now right?

Either way theres nothing crazy going on here, people including Bernstein who i like just arent paying attention and looking at current rankings that will have no meaning after Nov.4th.

IF molina wins he gets Breazeales number one or two spot...this is very simple stuff...lol

The WBC silver belt is supposed to be a stepping stone to the mandatory position. It should be Breazeale vs Whyte.

How does Molina get another shot?

A Wilder-Brezeale fight itself seems like it would be an entertaining fight. Brezeale would probably get stopped but he'd make a fun fight of it.

Brezeale is limited and slow but he has some positive attributes-size, power, heart, and chin-he makes for fun fights.

He's rated in the top 10 by some and if he beats Molina he'll be coming off 2 decent wins-Molina's a top 20 type of fighter and Ugonoh was an undefeated prospect. Not the strongest of runs and he should need to win another notable fight first but I've seen fighters do less to get a shot.

The thoughts of a Wilder-Molina rematch is embarrassing for the division.

If the Brezeale-Molina fight wasn't for the mandatory spot and the winner had to face someone else in the WBC top 15 first like Whyte, Browne, Ruiz etc then it's fine as an elimiantor. To go straight to a title shot though its another weak move by the WBC as far as their heavyweight mandatory situation goes.

That has nothing to do with the thread. Its clear as day how Breazeale and whyte have got the top spots now ( i posted it above? lol ),how has ANYONE got wilder title shots? Bernstein is paid to do this stuff...i am not, though i really should be . lol

You realize that a Molina win gets Breazeales position right? i pointed that out.

My point is simply that Molina has done nothing to deserve a final eliminator.

Breazeale is not the mandatory yet so if Molina beats him Molina should take that spot, not jump all the way to the mandatory position.

Whyte is higher ranked than either and wants a shot at Wilder.
