Now some of you people think I'm crazy that Chambers has a good shot at beating Wladimir, but fighting Dimintreko is a good test on how he delas with tall boxers. Of course I'm not ruling out a Dimintreko victory (although I'm predicting Chambers to win), but Dimintreko finally fights a good level opponent.
If you look at the heavyweight division, these two are currently the best skilled heavyweights besides Wlad, there skilled enough to expose some of Wlad's weaknesses, not saying they're going to win. Arreola, Povetkin (even though he beat Chambers), Denis Boytsov, will definitely get knocked out if they decide to fight Wlad.
None of them has any chances against Wlad. Maybe against Vitaly's fragile body, though only theoretically. Wlad with the skills and confidence he showed today would smash them during the one evening event.
I will say this: Eddie Chambers will NEVER, EVER, beat Wladimir Klitschko inside a boxing ring. Dimitrenko should win his fight with Chambers. But he, like Povetkin, can't beat Wlad either. He's a poor man's Wlad without most of his best attributes. I'd give him a small chance at best.
Chambers is so skilled that he will find a way to negate Wladimir's jab. Against Dimitrenko we will see how Chambers deals with big tall skilled boxers. If Chambers can beat Dimitrenko he can beat Wlad.
It is crazy but upsets have happened in boxing. I just can't wait till July 4, Chambers-Dimitrenko will be a good fight.
