If Cotto/Margo breaks 300k, it wouldn't make sense for Floyd to fight Hatton again instead of Cotto. Number 1, I don't think Ricky is going to look too good against Malignaggi. Number 2, I don't think Ricky wants to fight in America again, and I don't think Floyd wants to fight in the U.K(he's only risking getting jobbed and the PPV numbers would suffer). If Cotto/Margo breaks 300k and Floyd decides to fight Ricky instead, then people can criticise him all they want. There would be no defending Floyd in that situation.

Did this really require a second post?

If Cotto wins, he would be next in line for Mayweather, and none other.

but baldo when undefeated for 9 years knocking off the real champ also......doesnt that mean anything.......he has 9 losess 9 years ago homie....obviously he is better now....Same for margo so losses dont matter....there irrelevant right now.

How so? Margarito is not a top three ww right now; as a mater of fact, I fail to see how one can possibly consider him as a top five.

Cotto's win over Mosley, is far more significant than an eventual win over Margarito.

I can picture either of those guys losing to Williams and Santos. Both are huge and awkward southpaws. Not saying they would lose, but both those guys would of gave PBF and Cotto hell.

Just because Quintana doesn't mean Cotto would. Styles make fights and both Santos and Williams are bad style matchups for pretty much everyone at 147 and 154.

No they just exposed Margo, PBF and Cotto would beat the **** out of Williams and Santos IMO.

No they arent, Williams could have been had he beat Quintana, but when he lost he was sent back to the no name belt-holders/contenders.

The only big players at 147 right now are Cotto, PBF, Margo, and Mosley

All this hate is funny ... PBF is the champion ... no matter who wins what, they will never be able to gain a lineal and true championship by beating tough guys ... they have to beat the champion and last time I checked Mayweather is the champion.

I don't care who Margarito or Cotto defeats and even each other ... they don't have the championship !!
