Will come down to who is able to land first. For this reason I do not believe Pacman can defeat PBF.

Mayweather has a 5inch reach advantage over Pacman with almost as much speed. If they throw a punch at the same time Mayweather will land more impact full shots depending on the distance between the 2 fighters. As Mayweather could possibly avoid the full blunt of a Pacman punch while landing the full blunt of his because of the reach. Even if Pacman were to slide into his punching range. Mayweather will probably just tie him up and fight him with inside fighting or allow the ref to break them up. Pacman's best opportunities would be to try and tag Mayweather with combos as they separate from a clinch or inside fighting without the ref breaking them up. If they exchange punches Mayweather will be able to land at a farther distance which is crucial as he will probably do so while reacting and back peddling then exploding with counters.

Pacman had the same reach as Cotto. Pacman had 2 inch reach on Hatton. DLH did not have the hand speed anymore to pull the trigger. Pacman was easily able to land first on each of these fighters. He was able to land first on Marquez. The difference with Marquez was he was able to back peddle and explode with counters, timing, dodging, exploding. Marquez though had the same reach as Pacman though so in order for him to get good shots off he still had to come back to Pacman's punch range. Mayweather on the other hand does not need to be in Pacman's punching range in order to hit Pacman. If Pacman comes with a punch and Mayweather back peddles out of the way then explodes with a counter. He could do so without entering Pacman's punch range. And if Pacman has to keep extending in order to reach Mayweather to retaliate after a counter then he is in serious trouble as he will be open all night against the most accurate puncher in the sport.

We all know that Mayweather is going to come with jabs to the body mixed in with Jabs to the head in order to keep him guessing on where he will go with the Jab as well as keep Pacman at a distance. Pacman has the hand speed to counter that but again the reach will be a huge problem here. As even if he times it right and blocks the body shot. Mayweather will look to follow that up with a left or right hand straight depending on which hand he used to go to the body. This is where Manny's head movement will have to to be excellent and on point. Pacman's defense is going to have to be on point for all these things. Then he has to try and score points off catching Mayweather out of breaks, and somehow cornering Mayweather and scoring pts if he has Mayweather against the ropes. But again Mayweather would probably just look to tie up looking to use his size and muscle him so they could reverse sides then use inside fighting in that scenario.

If Pacman is able to overcome this and pull off a win then I will have to tip may hat off to him. But I am going to have to see him do it in order to believe it.

Great assessment, Floyd's reach will be significant, his jab is key.

Concrete, no offence but I never read all that, just wanted to give the main reason I think Floyd will win..... punch accuracy.

I have another thing to sort out in another thread but I`ll be back to read your post in 5 :good

Agreed, Marquez's textbook accurate punches counted against Manny, Floyd who is more accurate will also leave his mark.
