How do people think this would go? I know a lot of Haye's fans will laugh this off but both are un-beaten and skilled in their respective departments.Perez in the Mago fight looked fast and hungry while proving he has a solid chin,Jennings I dont know much about but from what Im reading here and elsewhere he starts slow and uses his long jab to pick away at opponents....both fighters too big a risk for someone like Haye?

It's actually a good matchup for Haye....

aint gonna happen, but it would be a very solid win for him.

I would say Haye by 8-4 9-3 decision over Perez in a defensive fight

I would say Haye by mid rds KO over Jennings.

Jennings key to winning is defense and his jab and counter UC.

He'll not catch Haye with the UC b/c Haye is the ultimate CPing HW. Also, Haye does go to the front foot when his guys hurt, and Jennings doesnt pack iron.

My guess is 3-3 type close fight until Haye catches Jennings with an OH R in the 7/8 rd and finishes him.

But Haye almost has an emeritus status wiht the WBA, so he'll get a tuneup vs Richard Towers or Ismail Abdoul, get him a good 8 rds work in and or a KO, and then get Chagaev or Briggs depending who's holding the title next summer.:think

The Jennings-Perez winner won't fight for quite awhile since the winner will be the second WBC mandatory for their title. (Hopefully, Stiverne-Wilder happens soon!)

Meanwhile, who gives a **** about that fraud Haye? Not me!

Jennings could fight Chagaev for the WBA strap.

Ya I dont see it happening either but believe Perez would chase and pressure him which I dont think would suit Haye, just dont see Haye taking any risk of either fighterYa I believe he will go for the Chagaev belt and with that we will hear him chase Klit again whilst getting 24/7 uk media coverage....

On the actual Perez/Jennings fight I would hope for a Perez win as I see him as someone whom Wilder wouldnt fancy at all! Think Jennings will try and take this to later rounds and wear Mike down:(

Perez is now trained by Adam Booth (Haye's trainer and good friend of almost 20 years) so if Prez wins there is almost no way this fight happens.

Didnt know Booth was involved with Perez,a sparring session is prob as close as this fight would get so....

the most important variable is just how much Haye has left.

Do you think Jennings could beat Chagaev?

I would think either of Perez or Haye would beat Chag but Jennings I would be unsure of as I dont know a lot about him,Chagaev has aged pretty bad and didnt look convincing last time out-do people actually still feel he has something to offer?? Lots of younger up and coming heavy's out there now!!

I think Chagaev is tailor made for Jennings. He wants to fight on the inside these days, and with Jennings reach and counter UC, I believe he'd rock Chagaev multiple times en route to a late TKO or 8-4 type UD(Jennings dont do well under constant pressure and Chaggy's inside game would win rds):think

maybe the winner vs an actual fighter who is active, not one that has had 1 fight in 3 years.

    Jennings is a good fighter.

I don't know how old he is, but he's the future of American heavyweight boxing.

The future if American boxing? Pretty big statement to make...I think after the Perez fight we will see just how far he can go and if hes capable of fighting a different styled fighter, the same for Perez. This fight has hugh potential for both men, really looking forward to seeing who wants it more!

Im no fan of Haye by the way and know he is undeserving because of his attitude and inactivity but was just curious to see what boxing fans felt of his chances.I still believe from what Ive seen so far Perez takes him simply because hes better,Hayes power is a tad over rated at heavy too.
