"Il faut savoir qu’il en coûte près 50 000 $ US pour mettre la main sur cette ceinture, la somme est défrayée par le gagnant! Malgré cela, Jean et Hopkins n’y voyaient pas d’inconvénients."

    Traduction :

It must be known that it costs roughly 50 000 $ US to put a hand on this belt, the money is paid by the winner. Nonetheless, Pascal and Hopkins have no problem with it.

    Wtf ?

Would not pay for that bull****. I'd invest that 50,000.

    It's the Sanctioning fee's, right?

Tim Bradley didn't want to pay for the WBC Sanctioning fee's so he won't be getting the WBC Belt on Jan 29th if he wins.

WBC is corrupt and went bankrupt from the Rocky Rocchigiani lawsuit that Rocky won. They have no money and now just make up more belts so they can collect sanctioning fees to pay off debt. Its sad that this is allowed. You could probably go to the WBC headquarters with 50k and buy a belt and ranking at this point. No joke.

I think the WBC sanctioning fee is 3% of the total purse so if it is a million dollar fight that would be about right......

Might as well spend that on a real diamond.

$31 million. The WBC has been stealing money from fighters for 10 years now because of that.

It's a lot more than 1 million. 1.5 minimum, just for Pascal (and that doesn't include live gate and PPV in Québec, UK, Australia, etc.)

No. It's not the sanctioning fees. The belt is an honorary one and it is ''handcrafted by an artisan in Mexico City with 18 carat gold fusion and has about 800 diamonds, emeralds and rubies, as well as 150 Swarovsky semiprecious stones''.:scaredas:

As I said, it's not related to rankings anyhow.

That's the only one existing so far. It's Manny's. The WBC gave it to him for free after the Cotto fight.
