Ruiz is most definitely getting fighting of the year if he beats Johsua in the rematch. There's no way anyone else could or will take that from him considering how severely overlooked he was going into the fight. The man made international news with that victory and was literally popping in every page/meme/article/whatever. It's insane considering what Pacquiao has done and what Alvarez could possibly do, but that's what I personally believe and is highly likely to be the case.

Also, I must add, Pacquiao's win over Thurman is a great victory regardless of Pacquiao's age. Even if Pacquiao was in his prime going into this fight, it would and SHOULD be considered a great victory. Let's please not get carried away as usual now that Pacquiao has won and try to make it sound or look like Thurman is nothing serious. Thurman is a very serious opponent and a top tier opponent. The fact that Pacquiao beat him at 40 years of age further proves that Pacquiao is arguably the greatest fighter of all time.

I have been claiming every top level fighter is on PED's back when 90% of posters on this site said asking for random drug testing was unacceptable and a sign of cowardice. You're moo'ing up the wrong tree, my friend.

    If Canelo wins. Yes.

If Kova wins... then Ruiz gets it if he beats AJ in December.

No. He was 4 minutes away from losing (on most people's cards from what I can gather) to a spent force! Consider that Canelo couldn't KO WWs & LMWs like Trout or Lara or an old Cotto.. all smaller men who've been stopped.. but he KOs a LHW... Jacobs even.. Been stopped & dropped..

Canelo only proved how much drugs are in his system & how shot Kovalev is. Smoke & mirrors win..

    Excuses excuses man.
The guy just KOed an active defending champion 2 weight classes above him.
There was no controversy either, clear win.

Canelo is pfp 1, FOTY and has the best win this year.
