    the way I see it is that you are payng for the expensive leather , thats why the gloves are more expensive also. Cant see it being a better head protector, chin is where as much damages gets done and theres no protection there as is normal.

    I have worn the fg2900. It's awesome. very light, awesome protection, good vision etc.
